Well, our three months of fundraising for ME Research UK have flown by, and we’re grateful to have raised £322.30 to support their work. This money will be added to the pot to help fund biomedical research into M.E – as always, a big thank you to everybody who supported SSK this quarter!

In June, we also celebrated the first birthday of our charity book, Dear Chronic Illness. It’s safe to say the year has absolutely flown by, but we’re eternally grateful for your ongoing support and five-star reviews. You can see our thank you post on Instagram, and purchase a copy for yourself on Amazon* [*affiliate link].

And on that note, we’re thrilled to share that our next chosen charity for July – September 2019 is CP Teens UK! Founded by Ellie Simpson, a British teenager with Cerebral Palsy frustrated at the lack of support for people like herself, the charity was set up to provide help, hope, inspiration & friendship to children & young people with Cerebral Palsy and their families. You can find further information about Ellie’s story and how the charity came about on the CP Teens UK website.

50% of all sales income from July – September 2019 SSK sales will be donated to the charity… so there’s no better time to do some online shopping. Head on over to Etsy now and treat yourself: you’ll be supporting a brilliant cause at the same time. Everybody wins, right?
