Yorkshire Women Of Achievement

We found out in March that I had been nominated for Sue Ryder’s Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards 2017, and I’m over the moon to now announce that I’ve been short-listed for the Jane Tomlinson Courage Award!

My fab friend Naomi was kind enough to nominate me, along with a reference from another lovely friend and founder of Project Parent, Kate. Both of these girls have been amazing supporters of SSK right from the start, and I’m so thankful to have both of these gorgeous people in my life! Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to speak to BBC Radio Leeds about SSK and living with M.E and I’m looking forward to any other advocacy opportunities that might arise over the next couple of months.

I have no expectations of winning the award, but from the start I knew that I’d really like to be short-listed so I’d get to go to the fancy ceremony. I’m really looking forward to meeting the other nominees too… roll on May!

Find out more about the awards and Sue Ryder’s invaluable work here. As always, thank you so much to everybody for your continued support and for allowing opportunities like this to come my way, you’ll never know how much I appreciate it!

Love and hugs,
Pippa x
